     I'm sure all you Divergent fans understand when I say I have quite a bit to say about Veronica Roth's final book to the Divergent series. I want to start by saying that I am a huge fan of the first and second book of the series, but I was thoroughly disappointed in Roth's work in the third book. There are so many flaws in the plot twist she put in. The third book invalidates the power of the first and second book! If you have not read the third one I highly recommend you avoid this book like it is covered in poison. It should be thrown in the brimstone in the depths of hell!

WARNING SPOLIERS AHEAD

     In Roth's blog post she explains that the reason Tris died was to bring back the struggle that she first had in the book. In the first and second book she was trying to "...honor her parents while still maintaining her true identity." She says that in the third book she solves this struggle and understands selflessness finally. I really do get where she is coming from, I just think that she could have done it in a better way. I think she was so caught up on making Tris the tragic hero of the day that she forgot what the plot line was. Also, why does Tris believe that dying is some epic way to honor her parents??? If she was trying to honor the people that had died for her, then putting Four and all her friends in emotional turmoil is not the way to go! Killing four would have made more sense than this!
     In reference to Roth's blog; why does she and her editors feel the need to come out and explain themselves? That right there should tell them both something. I think the editor thinks that all the fans are upset about the main character that they fell in love with dying. Which is not true! We are mad about the way it happened! If the story had been written extremely well, and Tris had a valid reason to die, I would have been fine with her death! And can I just say REALLY?! Sticking Four to live with his mother and get a government job is what every fan wanted to happen! Also, the length of Tobias's eulogy is just proof to show how many loose ends the book has left!
     I also have to mention another COMPLETLY USLESS death! What the heck!!!!! Uriah was just like standing there and BAM a bomb blows up! The only reason for his death is because he was standing there at the wrong time.
     There has been rumors about Veronica Roth writing another trilogy in Tobias's point of view. Honestly, I hope that she decides not to due to the fact that I have lost all hope in this story line. If she can't honor the Divergent series correctly, there is no possible way she can honor Tobias in another series.

P.S. This is the only time I would condemn the burning of any books.

Lets Talk about "The Fault in Our Stars" and Twits

For the past few years the book title "The Fault in Our Stars" has been highly talked about through the reading community. At first I was reluctant to read this book because I knew I would become attached to these characters and then something bad would happen because cancer is involved in the plot line. Boy did I underestimate the ability of John Green. He more than made the reader become attached to characters...... he made the reader fell in love with these characters.

Funny story about this book. Well, not so funny for me, but I'm sure yall will get a kick out of it. Eventually one of my friends convinced me to read this book. Eventhough I did promise her I would read it, I drug my feet. But when I hit page 100 I was hooked. The dynamic view the author has on Augustus is astounding. I had officially fallen in love with him. When that happened I was talking to the friend that recommended this book in the hallway. I was telling her how much I loved Augustus and, as it would be, this twit who walked by heard me say Augustus and screams," AUGUSTUS DIES!" I nearly punched him! So thank you random twit in the hallway for ruining a perfectly good book!
